ArthroPots Community Outreach

We work with Elkhorn Village Elementary by providing access to information that is invaluable in a time of frequent misinformation, especially when it comes to our environment. Over the course of four weeks, our students grow their understanding of the world around them, as well as build leadership and communication skills through group projects. The Elkhorn student demographic lacks proper STEM representation and we prove that all students can be in STEM fields no matter where they are from.

We created ArthroPots. They are plantable, compostable, plant pots made out of  leaves  sourced from local drains. For this effort, we won an engineering prize from SMUD, as well as the people's choice award and $2,000.  Inspired by our collective love for our community, we created a STEM education program aimed at k-8 students.
