The Applied Regional Science Conference (ARSC) 33rd Annual Meeting

(1) General information

  1. Date: Nobember 23rd-24th, 2019
    • Paper sessions are scheduled on November 23rd-24th.
    • Sakashita Prize lecture and the ARSC general meeting are scheduled on Saturday (Labor Thanksgiving Day), November 23rd.
    • Evening reception will be held on Saturday(Labor Thanksgiving Day), November 23rd.

  3. Conference registration fee (not including the evening reception):
    • 3,000 yen for ARSC members.
    • 5,000 yen for non-ARSC members.
    • 1,000 yen for students (members/non-members)
    • Participation in the evening reception requires an additional fee.
      • 5,000 yen for general (members/non-members)
      • 2,000 yen for students (members/non-members)
    • Payment method:
      • On-site payment in cash (no need for prepayment)

  5. Presentation:
    • The presentation time in the session is 20 minutes for presentation, 10 minutes for scheduled discussion and 10 minutes for general discussion. Please cooperate for smooth operation according to the instructions and judgment of the chairman.
    • We will prepare projectors that can be connected to HDMI and/or VGA. Please bring your own notebook PC with you when you make a presentation.
    • If you wish to distribute copies of your paper or its equivalent, please bring about 30 copies.
  6. Lunch
    • Since the school cafeteria is closed on the day of the meeting, we recommend that you make a reservation for a lunch box from the registration form.

(3) Important dates

  1. Deadline for the abstract submission: September 15th.
