What is youth polo? Youth Polo is an introduction for new players and building skills for our experienced players. Join us to learn the great sport of water polo, develop skills and play games against local clubs. Coaches will train athletes in the fundamentals of water polo in a competitive, safe, and fun environment. We are looking for players who want to continue the rich tradition of Arroyo Grande Water Polo.

Age and Experience? Ages 8 years old - 14 years old. No water polo experience is required. You must swim four laps of the pool for the 12u and 14u. The 10u should be thoroughly water safe and capable of doing a 10yard swim and back. Athletes should be comfortable swimmers.

Dates: Monday, January 10th - May 1st.

• Thursday 7:30 - 9:00pm

• Sunday 8-9:30 am - Swim/Conditioning Training Practice

Boys 12u Coach Hayner/Coach Meagher

• Monday 7:30 - 9:00pm

• Tuesday 7:30 - 9:00pm

• Sunday 8-9:30 am - Swim/Conditioning Training Practice

Boys - 10s Coach Allen/TBD

• Tuesday and Wednesday 7:30-8:30 pm at AG pool

• Sunday 8-9:30 am - Swim/Conditioning Training Practice at AG pool

• In March, practices will switch to Earlier Times @ Camp AG Pool (We will have earlier practices when the pool is avail)

Games and Tournaments: Essentially, we try to go to one league date a month and one tournament a month and have a couple of local scrimmages throughout the session.

• Arroyo Grande League Fall League ---- Single Day League with two games in one day.

  • February - 11th, 25th

  • March - 12th, March 26th

• Tournaments- Here are tentative dates for tournaments through out the season more info to come... Rosters will be determined by coaches before each event.

  • Kap 7 - Feb 4th - 5th @ OC Pools

  • Turbo Orange County Cup March 5th - 6th @ OC Pools

  • San Diego Cup April 29th - May 1st @ SD Pools

Cost: 14u - $800 --- Cost of 200 per month. 12u - $700 = $175 per month- 10u - $600 =150 per month Payment done through Paypal System. Monthly payments are available in 2, 3, or 4 - month increments.
