Parents and Athletes,

The LMUSD board did approve for athletics to come back! The bad news is the county has denied all county schools the ability to start athletics. They are saying that Youth Sports are not approved according to the state/CDC. The schools in the county are doing what they can to get us approved. 🤞

While the schools have been denied they did approve the district to open the pool up for swim lessons and lap swim. I know silly, but we will take it. So we are working on trying to open up some lap swim hours. I will be the lifeguard keeping the pool safe. LMUSD Summer Swim is opening the 13th, and we are hoping we can start with all athletics plan and not a lap swim plan. Either way, we are getting closer to jumping in the pool.

Lastly, we currently only have Kayla C, Fayth H, Anna K, and Emma P cleared and ready to start! If you are not on this list you will not get to join us for pool use! We do have another 10 that have done Family ID but no clearance. Please complete it asap.
