App Name: Array File
Developer Contact: raheelahmer64@gmail.com
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Array File application (“App”).
This Policy is guided by principles derived from the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”). Collectively, we refer to these as the “Applicable Rules”.
By using Array File, you confirm that you accept this Privacy Policy. If you wish to withdraw your consent at any time, you may email us at raheelahmer64@gmail.com. However, please note that withdrawing consent may limit or terminate your ability to use the App or certain features.
Files and Folders: Array File is a file management app. We access the files and folders on your device only to display, organize, rename, move, copy, share, or delete them as you direct.
No Account Required: Array File does not require you to create an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, birth date, or profile picture, unless you voluntarily contact us for support.
Device Information: We may collect your device model, operating system version, manufacturer, and app version for compatibility and performance optimization.
App Activity: Installation date, last use date, app version, and crash reports may be collected to improve user experience.
Storage Permission: We access your device’s storage only to provide file management functionality (view, copy, move, delete, share files). We do not upload your personal files to any external server.

We do not collect your contacts, location (GPS), or biometric data.
We do not upload your personal files to any cloud or server.
We do not track your browsing history.
We use your information only for legitimate purposes directly related to file management:
To Provide Core Functionality: Display files and folders, copy, move, rename, delete, share, and organize your content.
To Improve Performance: Analyze crash reports and usage statistics (anonymous) to fix bugs and improve the App.
To Respond to You: If you email us at raheelahmer64@gmail.com, we will use your email address only to reply to your inquiry.
Array File may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics) to collect anonymous usage data and crash logs. This helps us understand how the App is used and fix issues. This data does not include your personal files, folder names, or file contents.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We may share limited information only in the following cases:
Service Providers: We may share anonymous crash logs with analytics providers (e.g., Google Firebase).
Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or legal process.
With Your Consent: When you explicitly direct us to share a file via Android’s share sheet (e.g., sharing a file to another app).
No Cloud Storage: All your files remain only on your device. We do not store your files on our servers.
No Account: Because Array File does not require an account, we do not store your personal information on our servers except in the following case:
If you email us, your email address and message may be retained for customer service records (typically deleted after 90 days).
Analytics Data: Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
We take reasonable measures (including encryption of transmitted analytics data) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we strive to protect your privacy.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Right to Access: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Right to Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your data, so no action is needed.
Right to Restrict Processing: Limit how we use your data.
Since Array File does not require an account and stores files locally, most of your data never reaches us. If you wish to exercise any rights, please contact us at raheelahmer64@gmail.com.
If you are a California resident, under the “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code Section 1798.83), you may request information about categories of personal information we shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. We do not share any personal information for direct marketing. For any such request, email raheelahmer64@gmail.com.
Array File is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the App or via email (if you have contacted us). The “Last Updated” date at the top will change. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
Q: Does Array File upload my files to the internet?
A: No. Array File works entirely on your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any cloud without your explicit action (e.g., manually using a cloud app).
Q: Can I change permissions later?
A: Yes. You can revoke storage or other permissions at any time via your device’s Settings > Apps > Array File > Permissions.
Q: How do I request my data?
A: Since we store no personal data except what you email us, please contact raheelahmer64@gmail.com for any data requests.
Q: Do you show ads?
A: If Array File displays advertisements, they are served by third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob). Those networks may collect device identifiers to show relevant ads. Please review their privacy policies separately.
