Bill Hanna was one of the early forces at Auto Racing Research Associates!  Afterall, he had been a stat head for many years.   He was a natural to become one of ARRA's Founding Members.  Our group provided an outlet for Bill's passionate work behind the scenes...tabulating stat after stat for various speedways...especially the Flemington Speedway where he served on the speedway Saturday night staff in various capacities for many years.  Bill was always busy with some sort of project and relied on his extensive catalog of racing publications to continue pursuing his desire to document the history of our sport!  The Bill Hanna Passion and Dedication Award is presented to others in the sport who exhibit these traits in the same manner that Bill Hanna did each and every racing program....each and every research project!
