Arpit Arora is a theoretical scientist interested in emergent phenomena in quantum systems and their applications in quantum technology. His focus is not only to seek a fundamental understanding but also to provide insights about quantum systems for experimentalists to use as a toolkit for device design and quantum 2.0 hardware. His research interests range from quantum sensing and computing to science for regulated AI.
Arpit hails from New Delhi, India, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Prineha Narang's group at UCLA. He obtained his Ph.D from NTU, Singapore, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics at the University of Delhi, India.
Apart from research, Arpit is a home barista, writes a newsletter, is a sports enthusiast and is fond of cricket.
