Arpit Arora is a scientist interested in intersection of quantum simulation and AI. Through his work he aims to push the compute scale of strongly correlated entanglement structure in condensed matter systems and establish robust benchmarks for quantum processing units. Arpit is interested in a range of problems ranging from quantum sensing, compute, materials and devices.
Arpit hails from New Delhi, India, and is currently a postdoc researcher at NVIDIA. Before starting at NVIDIA he was a postdoc researcher at UCLA where was awarded the 2026 Postdoctoral Research Award by UCLA Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. He obtained his Ph.D from NTU, Singapore, and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Physics at the University of Delhi, India.
Apart from research, Arpit is a home barista, writes a newsletter, is a sports enthusiast and is fond of cricket.
