Welcome to AROFA. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience while using our application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.
1. Information Collection and Use
Our primary goal in collecting information is to provide and improve our Services, administer your use of the Services, and enable you to enjoy and easily navigate our app.
Account Data: If you choose to log in (e.g., via Google), we securely process your basic profile data: Name, Email Address, and Profile Picture. This is strictly for allowing you to save your progress, chat history, and gamification streaks. We do not share your email with third-party advertisers.
Location Data: AROFA requests access to your device's location solely for the purpose of calculating precise prayer times and determining the Qibla direction relative to your physical location. We do not store your location history; it is processed locally on your device or used anonymously to fetch prayer times.
AI Chat Interactions: When you interact with our AI Assistant, your queries are processed to provide religious guidance. Your queries are processed anonymously through our API providers (e.g., Google Gemini). Chat history is stored on your device and may be synced to our secure database if you are logged in.
2. Account and Data Deletion (User Control)
In compliance with Google Play requirements, we provide a clear path for users to delete their accounts and associated data.
How to request deletion: Users can request the complete deletion of their account and all associated personal data (Name, Email, and History) by contacting our Support Bot: @arofa_support_bot or via email at

Deletion Process: Upon receiving a request, we will verify the user's identity and delete all personal data from our systems (Firebase Authentication and Database) within 24-48 hours.
What is deleted: This request results in the permanent removal of your account, email records, and any synced app progress.
3. Log Data
In case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products like Firebase Crashlytics) on your phone called Log Data. This may include your device IP address, device name, operating system version, and the time/date of your use of the Service.
4. Service Providers
We employ third-party companies (Google Firebase, Google Gemini API) to facilitate our Service. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose it for any other purpose.
5. Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) to protect it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our servers.
