Permission 3: android.permission.MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
Folder encryption and locking :App’s core purpose is hiding images or videos requires relocating files to secure locations inaccessible via standard file explorers or media galleries.
Our app requires the All Files Access permission to provide its core functionality of encrypting, hiding, and managing files. This includes tasks such as copying, moving, deleting, and restoring files. Privacy-friendly solutions like
the Storage Access Framework or Media Store API cannot support these features due to their limited access and inability to manage files securely across storage.
Permission 4: android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
Introduced in Android 13, this permission specifically allows the app to read image data from external storage. It is crucial for apps that require access to images for features like gallery integration or image customization.
Permission 5: android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE, android.permission.CALL_PHONE, android.permission.ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS
