About
I work at the Brazilian Agency for Research and Innovation (Finep). I am also an independent researcher and a lecturer at IAG Business School. Before joining Finep, I was a visiting researcher at McMaster University and a math teacher for Tutoring Schools and Math Competitions.
My interest lies in the intersection of finance/economics, psychology, and decision-making. This field is often called Behavioral Finance/Economics. I employ empirical and theoretical analysis to better understand financial and economic decisions and their psychological underpinnings, generating formal foundations as well as real-world applications.
I hold a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, M.S. in Applied Mathematics, and a B.S. in Mathematics (with Honors).
