Here is a great resource on cleaning and maintaining your instrument put together by a colleague. Make sure your instrument is in proper working order!

Mr. Kuni recommends the following for instrument repairs:
Flying Squirrel Music (Raleigh)- 919-615-3117 (woodwind repairs only)
Jim Peterson (Raleigh) - 919-833-0129 (independent instrument repairman, located near NC State campus)
Music and Arts (Cary) - 919-854-0024 (can do mobile instrument repair - they have a repair truck that comes to our school - or on-site repair at their repair shop in North Raleigh near Triangle Town Center)
Sweeney Brass (Raleigh) - 919-617-6340 (brass repairs only, also sells a variety of used and refurbished beginner, intermediate and professional brass instruments)
