Hi, I’m Arman Mahmud, and I am currently working as a Research Assistant at ARCED Foundation, where I utilize my expertise in statistical methods to contribute to impactful research projects. I am a dedicated statistician with a solid background in Applied Statistics and Data Science. I earned my Master’s in Applied Statistics and Data Science as well as BS in Applied Statistics from Dhaka University.

My academic journey has fueled my love for numbers, research, and solving real-world problems through data-driven insights. With a focus on machine learning, deep learning, biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental statistics, and advanced AI techniques, my work lies at the intersection of public health, data analytics, and impactful research. I enjoy using my expertise in statistics and machine learning to explore patterns and insights that can drive meaningful change.

Before university, I completed my HSC from IDEAL College, Dhanmondi, and SSC from BAF Shaheen College, Paharkanchanpur. My blood group is A+, and these educational experiences laid the groundwork for my analytical mindset and sharpened my critical thinking.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and solving puzzles, which help me stay curious and challenge myself both mentally and physically. Outside of my studies, I’ve actively participated in debates, English-speaking competitions, and various volunteering events, earning several awards that have enriched my communication and leadership skills.
