Unfortunately it happened again.A German community, Bundeswehr Roleplay (arma-bw.de/) is distributing our mod on the Steam Workshop. This is happening without our knowledge or permission.Today and yesterday I spent a good hour each on their teamspeak trying to reach somebody. It's the second time this particular community has uploaded our mod to the SWS and they don't seem to want to talk to me, probably because they know what they are doing. Steam was informed, but I have no idea how long that may take. The Link to their SWS item: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=871985070Please do NOT use this link. We as authors have no control over the files in this mod and it might not mirror our actual mod in function.I personally think that this is quite a brash thing to do and I unfortunately have no real power to do anything against it, except contacting Steam. One thing is for sure: It ain't motivating.

GM has multiple 7.62 rounds implemented not just a single one, all of these rounds are performing the way they are supposed to perform in reality, and able to penetrate the amount of steel/concrete they are supposed to penetrate in Arma. Arma3s 7.62 ammo has been massively nerfed and does not behave the way it is supposed to behave. In arma itself, this doesn't matter all that much as it is not the primary ammunition used by the majority of the weapons. In GM we need to make sure that the 7.62 rounds we have perform as close to reality as possible as it is the primary ammunition for the Western weapons used in the DLC.

(if you get hit in the head by a 7.62 round, helmet or not you do not just walk away from that)

The FN FAL is a 7.6251mm, selective fire, automatic rifle produced by the Belgian armaments manufacturer Fabrique Nationale de Herstal (FN). During the Cold War it was adopted by many North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries, most notably with the British Commonwealth as the semi-automatic L1A1. It is one of the most widely used rifles in history, having been used by more than 90 countries.[61] The FAL was predominantly chambered for the 7.62mm NATO round, and because of its prevalence and widespread use among the armed forces of many western nations during the Cold War, it was nicknamed "The right arm of the Free World".[62]

The Heckler & Koch G3 is a 7.6251mm, selective fire, automatic rifle produced by the German armament manufacturer Heckler & Koch GmbH (H&K) in collaboration with the Spanish state-owned design and development agency CETME (Centro de Estudios Tcnicos de Materiales Especiales).[63] The rifle proved successful in the export market, being adopted by the armed forces of over 60 countries.[64] After World War II, German technicians involved in developing the Sturmgewehr 45, continued their research in France at CEAM. The StG 45 mechanism was modified by Ludwig Vorgrimler and Theodor Lffler at the Mulhouse facility between 1946 and 1949. Vorgrimler later went to work at CETME in Spain and developed the line of CETME automatic rifles based on his improved StG 45 design. Germany eventually purchased the license for the CETME design and manufactured the Heckler & Koch G3 as well as an entire line of weapons built on the same system, one of the most famous being the MP5 SMG.

Around 5 billion euros (2023) and 1.6 billion euros (2022) have already been spent on military assistance for Ukraine. Another 2.9 billion euros were earmarked in the first two years of the war for deliveries to be made between 2025 and 2028.

This addon include weapons that was produced in or imported to Germany for public services. Some weapons (e.g. HSc) had a short story and went into the hands of criminals or private men. Other weapons (P38) turns to famous guns of the army or police also outside of Germany. This pack includes a little bit german history between 1920 til today. From the pocket pistol era of the 1920's (Model 9) over the PP for the Police, the Wehrmacht P38, to the licence produced Makarov in the GDR, the retooled P1 for the Bundeswehr or the modern Glock 17 from Austria for German Special Police Forces.

Why is the mission only in German? - Because while I don't know EXACTLY how to localize all text besides that the stringtable.xml file is needed for that, I DO KNOW it will most likely be a very time consuming process. I'd rather get some feedback on the mission itself before doing a localization once and then after re-editing the mission having to do it twice! Plus I hope that there are enough german players here willing to give this mission a try and then post some feedback here. If I hear the mission is playable and bug free, I'll call for help in the Editing Forum here and I'm sure the nice ARMA community members will help me with the technical side of localization for both this mission and my previous one! I guess I'll go for an English translation of my two missions as next editing project to have them both available in least one more language.

[upper limb of the human body], Middle English arm, from Old English earm, from Proto-Germanic *armaz (source also of Old Saxon, Danish, Swedish, Middle Dutch, German arm, Old Norse armr, Old Frisian erm), from PIE root *ar- "to fit together" (source also of Sanskrit irmah "arm," Greek arthron "a joint," Latin armus "shoulder").

[weapon], c. 1300, armes (plural) "weapons of a warrior," from Old French armes (plural), "arms, weapons; war, warfare" (11c.), from Latin arma "weapons" (including armor), literally "tools, implements (of war)," from PIE *ar()mo-, suffixed form of root *ar- "to fit together." The notion seems to be "that which is fitted together." Compare arm (n.1).

"furnish with weapons," c. 1200, from Old French armer "provide weapons to; take up arms," or directly from Latin armare "furnish with arms," from arma "weapons," literally "tools, implements" of war (see arm (n.2)). The intransitive sense of "provide oneself with weapons" in English is from c. 1400. Related: Armed; arming.

burrowing mammal of the American tropics, 1570s, from Spanish armadillo, diminutive of armado "armored," from Latin armatus, past participle of armare "to arm, furnish with weapons," from arma "weapons" (including defensive armor), literally "tools, implements (of war);" see arm (n.2). The animal is so called for its hard, plated shell. 0852c4b9a8
