All employees with town health insurance through GIC are able to access the Health Reimbursement Account to off-set high medical expenses. There are two types of reimbursement:
Reimbursement for High Co-Pays: imaging, in-network hospitalizations, day surgery or procedures, and emergency room visits.
Reimbursement of total Out-of-Pocket expenses: total individual expenses over $1000 or family expenses over $2000.
