Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)

All employees with town health insurance through GIC are able to access the Health Reimbursement Account to off-set high medical expenses.  There are two types of reimbursement:

Reimbursement for High Co-Pays: imaging, in-network hospitalizations, day surgery or procedures, and emergency room visits.  

Reimbursement of total Out-of-Pocket expenses: total individual expenses over $1000 or family expenses over $2000.

Plans are managed by Navia Benefits.  You can use their website or app to file claims for reimbursement.  You will need your Summary/Statement of Benefits from your insurance company.
