Mission of the App
The ARLab mobile app addresses concerns with the current application of online science curriculum.
It is a tool for science educators looking to use aspects of augmented reality, gamification, and social media, to aid in the creation of a strong open and mobile course.
The increased prevalance of online education, increases the need for quality online educational apps.
There are current gaps in the online science curriculum.
In light of increased online science education, and the current gaps in that education - ARApp has been imagined.
ARApp uses the strengths of three themes in ETEC523.
As a young secondary science teacher, the topic of the future of science education is of particular interest to me.
