Hi, I'm Arjun Kharel ...

... a sociologist with training on qualitative and quantitative research methods and research interests and experiences on a wide range of social issues including labour, migration, development, agriculture and food systems, social change, social movements, health and wellbeing, and evaluation of development projects. I  am based in Kathmandu and affiliated with Tribhuvan University and Centre for the Study of Labour and Mobility.

I have achieved a PhD and an MA in Sociology from Kansas State University, USA and an MA in English and a BA in English and Political Science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal.  My publications are available at:
