Hello, and welcome to my homepage! 

I am an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Technology, Silchar. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor at GITAM (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. Prior to that, I worked independently as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Harish-Chandra Research Institute, Prayagraj (Allahabad), India, and as a Research Associate under the mentorship of Prof. B. Ramakrishnan in the Theoretical and Applied Sciences Unit at the Indian Statistical Institute, Tezpur Centre. 

I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the  IIIT Guwahati, under the supervision of Dr. Gautam Kalita.

Apart from research, teaching, and guiding students, I love to do the following things on a daily basis:
(i) cooking various dishes,
(ii) chatting and having friendly banter  with close ones,
(iii) riding my scooty, and
(iv) watching cricket and Bengali serials.
