This business was established on 15th October 2016 and owned by Mak Cik Fatimah Haji Mawi. It first run in Tanjong Lobang, Miri then moved to Taman Seroja, Miri in 2019. The main food sales was satay (including chicken satay, lamb satay and beef satay) with the special recipes passed down from generation to generation marinated. In 2016, Mr. Ariffin (the current owner of Ariffin Sate) works with Mak Cik Fatimah Haji Mawi. At the beginning of the satay business, there were fewer customers come and visit to the stall as the people are not really knew about this stall. But after few months operation, the path of satay sales is going well as more people have tasted delicious with the satay. So start in 2016, satay business began. After few years onwards which is in 2019, with the stall has been moved to Taman Seroja, Miri, Mr. Ariffin become the new stall owner and renamed the stall as 'Ariffin Sate'. Therefore, the story of Ariffin Sate began and continue to this day...
