Arghya Sadhukhan

I am a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Maryland, College Park, working under the supervision of Xuhua He, CUHK and Jeff Adams, UMD. Before starting grad school at UMD, I did a masters at IMSc, Chennai in India.

My research interest lies in arithmetic geometry, algebraic groups and representation theory with applications toward the Langlands program. More specifically, I am a Lie theorist by training, and I apply tools from the theory of finite and affine Weyl groups and their Hecke algebras and combine them with extensive computer calculations using SageMath to explore the geometry of affine Deligne--Lusztig varieties from a combinatorial and group-theoretic standpoint.

My email address is arghyas0 [dot] math [dot] umd [dot] edu.

Starting Fall 2023, I'll be a postdoc at the National University of Singapore.
