ARENA PROPERTIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("we," "our," or "us") operates the BioLume mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.
BioLume is an offline-first application. It does not use the internet, does not require an account, and does not contain any advertising, analytics, or tracking software of any kind.
BioLume does not collect any data. There are no servers, no backend, and no third-party SDKs bundled with the app. The app never requests network access on your device in its release build.
To provide features like bookmarks, quiz history, and reading progress, BioLume stores a small amount of information locally on your device using standard app storage (SharedPreferences). This includes:
Your theme and display preferences
Lessons and flashcards you have favorited
Lessons you have completed and recently read
Your quiz results and streak
This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
BioLume does not request internet, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or any other sensitive device permission. The app only needs standard storage access provided automatically by the operating system.
Because BioLume collects no personal information and has no internet connectivity, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
You can permanently delete all locally stored progress, favorites, and history at any time from Settings → Reset Progress, or by uninstalling the app.
If this policy changes in the future, the updated version will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
