General Notes on Building Electronics

Hook-up Wire: 

     Typically 22 gauge solid, as solid wire is compatible with solderless breadboards

Wire Colors:

• Red: Power, typically 5V

• Black: Ground

• Yellow, White, Blue, Green: Signals

Organization:

• Keep wires as short as possible

• If wires need to cross the breadboard, do so underneath
