AR Drawio ("AR Drawio," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, when we share it with third-party service providers, and the choices and rights available to you when you use the AR Drawio application (the "Application").
By using the Application, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Application.
1.1 Account Information
Certain features of AR Drawio may require you to create an account.
You may create an account using:
An email address; or
Sign in with Apple.
Depending on the sign-in method you choose, we may collect and process information such as your email address, Apple-provided user identifier, and other information necessary to authenticate and manage your account.
When you use Sign in with Apple, you may choose to share your real email address or use Apple's private email relay feature. If you choose to hide your email address, Apple may provide us with a unique relay email address instead of your personal email address. We use the identifier and email information provided by Apple only as necessary to create and manage your AR Drawio account.
1.2 Device Identifier
The Application may generate or use a device identifier, such as a randomly generated UUID, to manage feature usage limits, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
This identifier is not used for advertising, personalized advertising, or cross-app tracking.
Where applicable, the device identifier may be transmitted to our servers for the purposes described above.
1.3 Images Submitted for AI Processing
AR Drawio provides an AI-assisted photo-to-stencil feature that converts a selected image into a line-art stencil.
When you choose to use this feature, the image you select is transmitted to OpenAI through our integration with OpenAI's services for the purpose of processing the image and generating the requested stencil.
We do not intentionally store the original image on our own servers after it has been submitted for processing, except where temporary technical processing or storage is necessary to provide the requested service.
We do not use submitted images for advertising, marketing, or unrelated purposes.
OpenAI may process submitted content in accordance with its applicable terms, privacy policies, and data handling practices.
1.4 Locally Stored Information
Certain information may be stored locally on your device, including:
Generated stencils;
Drawing settings;
Adjusted stencil settings;
Drawing preferences; and
Other application data necessary to provide offline or device-based functionality.
Locally stored information remains on your device unless you delete it through the Application, remove the relevant content, or uninstall the Application.
2. Camera and Photo Library Permissions
2.1 Camera
AR Drawio requests access to your device's camera when you use the AR Projection tracing feature.
The camera is used to display a live camera preview with your selected stencil overlaid onto the real-world environment, allowing you to trace the image onto paper or another physical surface.
The camera feed is processed on your device in real time for display and AR functionality.
We do not record, save, or transmit the live camera feed to our servers.
If you do not grant camera permission, you can continue to use other Application features that do not require camera access.
2.2 Photo Library
AR Drawio may request access to your Photos library when you choose to select an image for stencil creation.
Your selected image is used only for the feature you request.
If you choose the AI-assisted photo-to-stencil feature, the selected image is transmitted to OpenAI for processing as described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not access your entire photo library. The Application only accesses photos that you select or otherwise authorize through Apple's system-provided photo permissions.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information collected through the Application for the following purposes:
To create and manage user accounts;
To authenticate users;
To provide Sign in with Apple and email-based authentication;
To synchronize account-related information where applicable;
To manage feature usage limits;
To prevent abuse and unauthorized use;
To provide the AI-assisted photo-to-stencil feature;
To generate requested line-art stencils;
To provide AR Projection functionality;
To maintain and improve the reliability and security of the Application;
To respond to user requests and provide customer support; and
To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising or behavioral tracking.
4. AI Image Processin
When you voluntarily use the AI-assisted photo-to-stencil feature, the image you select is transmitted to OpenAI for processing.
The image is used to generate the stencil requested by you.
We do not intentionally use your submitted images for:
Advertising;
Behavioral profiling;
Personalized advertising;
Selling personal information; or
Any unrelated commercial purpose.
We do not intentionally retain the original images on our own servers after the requested processing is completed, except where temporary storage is technically necessary to provide the service.
Because OpenAI is an independent third-party service provider, its processing of information is also subject to its own applicable terms and privacy policies.
You should avoid submitting images containing sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable with the image being transmitted to the AI processing provider.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate rights and permissions to submit images containing other individuals or third-party content.
5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information.
We may transmit or disclose information to third-party service providers only when reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, or operate the Application.
5.1 OpenAI
We use OpenAI as the AI processing provider for the photo-to-stencil feature.
When you use this feature, the selected image is transmitted to OpenAI for processing and generation of the requested stencil.
OpenAI's handling of submitted information is governed by its applicable privacy policies and terms.

We do not authorize third-party service providers to use your personal information for advertising or unrelated purposes on our behalf.
6. Advertising and Tracking
AR Drawio does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
We do not sell personal information to advertising networks.
We do not use your information for cross-app or cross-website behavioral advertising.
We do not use Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for advertising or tracking purposes.
AR Drawio does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Application and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Account Information
Account information is retained while your account remains active.
When you confirm account deletion through the Application, your account and associated personal information stored on our servers will be deleted immediately, except for information that we are required to retain by applicable law.
AI-Submitted Images
We do not intentionally retain original images submitted to our own servers after the requested AI processing has been completed, except where temporary technical processing or storage is necessary to provide the requested service.
OpenAI may process or retain submitted content according to its applicable policies and terms.
Locally Stored Content
Stencils, drawing settings, and other locally stored Application content remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the Application.
Device Identifiers
Device identifiers may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide usage-limit, security, fraud-prevention, and service-reliability functions.
8. Account Deletion
If you have created an AR Drawio account, you may permanently delete your account directly within the Application.
The account deletion option can be accessed through:
Settings → Account → Cannel Account
When you confirm account deletion, your account and the personal information associated with it, including your email address, account identifier, and other account data stored on our servers, will be deleted immediately
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Information that we are required to retain by applicable law may be retained only for as long as legally required.
Deleting your account does not automatically delete content stored solely on your device.
Locally stored stencils, drawing preferences, and other offline content can be removed separately by deleting the relevant content or uninstalling the Application.

9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
Request access to personal information we hold about you;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion of your personal information;

Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.

10. International Data Processing
AR Drawio and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live.
For example, images submitted for the AI-assisted photo-to-stencil feature may be processed through OpenAI.
Where required by applicable law, we take reasonable measures to protect personal information when it is transferred internationally.
11. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
These measures may include encrypted data transmission and access controls.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Therefore, while we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children's Privacy
AR Drawio is not directed to children under 13 years of age, or the applicable minimum age of digital consent in the user's jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable age.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child below the applicable age without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
Parents or guardians should supervise children when using camera-based tracing or AI-assisted image processing features.
13. Third-Party Services
The Application uses OpenAI as a third-party AI processing provider for the photo-to-stencil feature.
OpenAI operates independently from AR Drawio and may have its own privacy policies, terms, and data practices.
We encourage users to review OpenAI's applicable privacy policies and terms.
AR Drawio is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services beyond the extent required by applicable law.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Application, our data practices, applicable laws, or third-party services.
When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice within the Application or through other appropriate communication channels where required by applicable law.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to remain informed about how we handle your information.
