I have always had the need to make art. To me, art is a way of expressing love, processing grief, and putting a voice to the voiceless parts of yourself. I picked up a paintbrush at about 4 years old and decided it would become my weapon. In addition to my main love of acrylic and oil painting, I am a multi-disciplinary artist using watercolor, sketch, ceramics, music, and performance art to express myself. I love to blend realism with fast-paced strokes and contorted perspectives. I find inspiration in Greek mythology and religious lore, queer history, gothic literature, vaudeville theater, nature, and the baroque art movement. my art is driven by my fascination with the gross, weird, underappreciated sides of life as well as queer identity and the beauty of life, death, and the people around me. I want my art to challenge the viewer, taking a look at the most beautiful parts of ugliness.
