Io is the current archivist of the datawell archive system. It oversees around 7 concurrent archives.
It is responsible for data maintenance, corruption removal, and the general anti-virus software of the datawell archive system.
Io Project
Io was the brainchild of PT-124 and the Lanthanine Neural Computing Department. Io runs on a decentralized system of computers across all Lanthanine Exclusion Outposts, therefore Io can operate even if the current ARCSecure system is unvailable. Io keeps backups of archived data in the computers it is assigned to, in order to ensure that operatives have access to crucial data even in times where worldwide communication is unavailable.
