Archive is a true crime and paranormal comedy podcast hosted by Ben Hampton and Bayli Moore. Each week they discuss cases covering a wide array of topics- from cold cases and murder to hauntings and cryptids. While a true crime & paranormal comedy podcast seems like an oxymoron, Ben and Bayli cover serious and often disturbing topics with added comedic commentary to lighten the mood and provide the listener with an easier to digest take on these harrowing stories.
Archive was born out of Bayli's intense need to share her love of all things true crime and paranormal, and Ben's ability to edit and provide a comedic take on otherwise grim cases. If you want the real facts- we were on a run one day when I (Bayli) said to Ben, "I have no one to talk about murder with, I wish someone else wanted to talk about true crime with me". To which Ben replied, "Lets make a podcast and you can talk about it all you want". And shortly thereafter, Archive was created.
MEET YOUR HOSTS
Bayli Moore is a graphic designer and true crime enthusiast from Vancouver, WA. She "don't mess with the paranormal shit" and is a firm believer in Sasquatch. When she's not writing her cases and nagging Ben to get the latest episode edited, you can usually find her watching a true crime doc or Ghost Adventures with her dog Casper and two guinea pigs, Dexter and Reid.
Ben Hampton is one half of the Archive duo and our in-house editing wizard. While he claims to be a non-believer of all things paranormal, his love of history and psychology adds an interesting twist to his cases. When he's not recording and editing all things Archive related, you can find him creating short films with his friends and hanging out with his family.
