This Privacy Policy describes how the Arches mobile game ("Arches", "we", "us") handles information when you play. By installing or using Arches, you agree to the practices described below.
a. Device identifier. Arches reads your device's Android ID (a non-resettable identifier provided by the operating system) and uses it as the key for your player profile and progress.
b. Player profile data. This includes your chosen display name, campaign progress, unlocked spells, lifetime gameplay stats (games played, hits, headshots, fire/ice hits), and ranked rating.
c. Multiplayer data. When you play online, transient game messages (your shots, aim, and spell activations) are relayed through our servers so your opponent can see them. When you play locally, the same messages are sent peer-to-peer over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi using the Google Nearby Connections API and are not transmitted to us.
d. Analytics events. We collect anonymous usage events such as match starts, match outcomes, screen views, and store interactions to understand how the game is played and improve it.
e. Crash reports. If the app crashes, diagnostic information (device model, OS version, stack trace, build version) is sent to our crash reporting service so we can fix bugs.
f. Purchases. If you subscribe to or purchase items in the in-game shop, the transaction is handled by Google Play Billing. We receive a record that a purchase was made and tied to your account, but Arches never sees your payment card or billing address — Google Play does.
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, location for advertising, voice, microphone audio, or any health data.

Arches uses the following services to operate. Each has its own privacy policy:
Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Realtime Database, Firestore) — usage analytics, crash reports, cloud profile sync, and online multiplayer relay. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Amplitude — supplementary product analytics. See amplitude.com/privacy.
Google Play Services — sign-in, billing, and the Nearby Connections API. See policies.google.com/privacy.
These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and compliance commitments.
We use the information described above to:
Save your campaign progress, unlocks, and ranked rating across sessions and devices.
Match you with opponents and relay shots during online play.
Diagnose crashes and stability problems.
Understand which features are used so we can improve balance, difficulty, and design.
Process in-app purchases.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for advertising targeting.
Profile and progress are retained for as long as your Android ID is associated with the app on your device.
Multiplayer messages in our Realtime Database are short-lived and are deleted automatically by server-side TTL rules once a match ends.
Analytics events are retained according to the default retention policies of Firebase Analytics and Amplitude (typically 14 months for Firebase).
Crash reports are retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days.
Arches is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/UK). If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Reset your progress. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To delete the cloud copy as well, contact us at the address below and provide your in-game display name; we will purge the profile keyed to your device.
Opt out of analytics. You can opt out of Google's advertising and analytics identifiers in your Android device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
EU / UK / California residents. You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us to exercise these rights.
We use Firebase's built-in transport encryption (HTTPS / TLS) for all data sent to our servers. Realtime Database rules restrict access to your own match data. No internet service is perfectly secure, but we follow current industry best practices.
We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or on our store listing. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
