The above research work discusses in detail about the various aspects of west Asian and Greco-Roman art and its interaction in Indian art from 3rd century BC to 3rd century AD
The present volume is an attempt to find out various motifs or elements that have been taken from the art of West Asia and Greco-Roman world in Indian art and have been transformed and Indianised in Indian art.
The above mentioned research deals with to show the fact that the Kot Diji-Sothi complex was eastern in origin and western in expansion and it was a very dominant form of culture which anticipated the mature Harappan civilization in more than one ways.
