Arch Nurse Program

Welcome to the ARCH Nurse Program.  (Access to Reproductive Care and HIV Services)

The New Jersey Department of Health utilizes nurses to enhance the services of Syringe Access Programs to offer basic health and health education services.  ARCH nurses counsel about reproductive health and reducing HIV transmission, conduct pregnancy and STD testing, offer adult vaccines, teach safer injection practices, provide wound care consultations and arrange referrals for preconception, antenatal and HIV specialty care.  This site serves as a repository of documents for the ARCH nurses and as a mechanism to communicate and coordinate information and activities.
