In Uccle, young participants took part in the “What we do for the environment – Recycling & Upcycling” workshop organised by ARCENE on April, 2025. They were divided into small groups and provided with recycled materials such as old fabrics, plastic bottles, cardboard, magazines, and string. After a brief introduction on the importance of recycling and upcycling, each group designed and created items like bags, decorative objects, or accessories by cutting, gluing, and decorating the materials. At the end, the groups presented their creations and discussed how these projects contribute to sustainability. The activity allowed participants to experience creativity while learning practical ways to reduce waste and protect the environment.
