Commentary:

The idea for the shadow figure goes all the way back to when I was in 4th grade when I would often have nightmares of black figures made from shadows come to take me away while I was asleep.

I had drawn this very quickly in the middle of the night one day as i saw a crevice in my room that resembled a shadow figure.
