Where to start with this one? I had a nightmare in which one of my friends was criticizing my art calling it ugly and telling me I should stop. This was a prominent drawing throughout the nightmare and it stuck with me so much that I had to draw it.

As for the inspiration for it, despite being asleep, it bears a heavy resemblance to a scene from Pink Floyd's Shine on You Crazy Diamond music video.
