Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 59th Actuarial Research Conference (ARC) from July 18 to 20, 2024 with evening reception on July 17. The ARC is a major event in the North America’s actuarial community, bringing together scholars and practitioners across the world. Attendees will discuss emerging research on some of the most pressing questions in the field of actuarial science.  

The conference agenda encompasses distinguished keynote speakers, thought-provoking panel sessions, and presentations by eminent academics and industry leaders. Furthermore, this gathering offers attendees a prime opportunity to forge connections and interact with fellow actuaries and researchers. It stands as a distinctive occasion to exchange concepts, collaborate on research endeavors, and nurture enduring professional bonds.

MTSU boasts a robust and acclaimed actuarial science program, recognized as a Center of Actuarial Excellence by the Society of Actuaries in 2024 and awarded the Gold Level of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) University Recognition Program in 2023. As the only institution in Tennessee to receive both honors, MTSU's commitment to high-quality education is evident. The program's dedication to continuous improvement is demonstrated through its international academic partnerships, providing rigorous actuarial education for both undergraduate and graduate students.
