John Prather

August 16, 1951 – September 27, 2012

John was born in Havre, Montana. In his growing up years he went to various schools in eight different states. After high school, John served in the Navy for three years in Japan. Living in Colorado Springs he received an Associates Degree in broadcasting and did some radio broadcasting. He came back to Littleton and worked for an oil company plus had a sporting goods store. In 1986 he began working for Martin Marietta. After several years he retired. He was married in 1991. In 2005 and his wife built a home in Townsend, Montana. There he enjoyed hunting, four wheeling, range shooting and fishing.
