I am an Assistant Professor at the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Before joining Gies I obtained my Ph.D. in Systems Engineering at the University of Virginia, where I had the honor of being supervised by Dr. Robert Riggs and Dr. Thomas Lidbetter.  In my Ph.D., I worked on various projects, as well as theoretical and practical extensions of operations and supply chain management, focusing on game theory methods in water resource management, information, and data analytics.
I have a master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia, advised by Dr. Christoph Hauert, and another in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University, supervised by Dr. David Ben-Arieh and Dr. Shing Chang. In my master's projects, I mainly worked on game theory concepts and studied the interaction of players in cases where they can switch their strategies. I also modeled stochastic Birth-death processes for three types. Outside of my academic work, I love to play soccer, hike, go for a walk, read, and listen to podcasts and music.
