No account required: You can use the app without signing up or providing personal details.
Local app data only: The following are stored locally on your device:
Daily water intake
Hydration goals & cup sizes
Reminder times
Theme preferences (Light/Dark)
App onboarding status
No trackers: We do not use analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party trackers. Your data never leaves your device.
3. How We Use Your Information
Hydration features: To calculate your progress, display history and charts, and maintain streaks.
Reminders: To schedule and deliver hydration notifications at the times you choose.
4. Data Storage & Security
On-device only: All data is saved directly on your device (e.g., SharedPreferences on Android, UserDefaults on iOS).
Your control: You can reset today’s data or clear all data from the in-app settings. Uninstalling the app deletes all stored information.
5. App Permissions
Notifications: To send reminders you configure (can be enabled/disabled in system settings).
Alarms/Exact alarms (Android): Ensures reminders trigger at the times you select.
Boot completed (Android): Allows reminders to be rescheduled automatically after device restart.
6. Third-Party Services
Local notifications library: Used for device-level reminders. It does not collect or share personal data.
No data sharing: We do not sell, rent, or share any information with third parties.
7. Children’s Privacy
Aqua Pulse is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us, and we will take action promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
No data is transmitted to external servers. Since all information remains on your device, international data transfers do not apply.
9. Your Choices
Manage permissions: Adjust notification preferences in your device settings.
Manage data: Reset or clear stored data within the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything.
