About Me

I am an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Jammu. I have obtained my doctoral degree from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Delhi under the guidance of Dr Samar Husain (Thesis Supervisor). The title of my thesis was "The Role of Prediction and Working Memory Constraints in Hindi Sentence Comprehension". My research broadly focuses on the interaction of working memory and expectation in Hindi sentence processing. My research methodology involves the use of sentence completion, Self Paced Reading (SPR), and eye-tracking experiments. I hold degrees in M.A. Linguistics and B.A (Hons.) Arabic from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
