On a fateful day, the life of an ordinary PhD student was thrown into disarray. Thanks to an incident with some strange lab equipment, she was sent back in time to the Middle Ages. As if that wasn't weird enough, she then encountered a mysterious Wizard using mystical methods to scam the common folk out of their money. 

Will our heroine solve the mystery behind these strange happenings? 

Will the scientific method succeed in bringing truth and enlightenment to the Middle Ages?
