Salati — Privacy Policy

Salati (“Salati,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides prayer times, Qibla direction, adhkar, and Ramadan tools for iOS, Android, and companion platforms (Apple Watch, CarPlay, Android Auto). Salati does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on any server. This Privacy Policy explains how the app works and why no data collection is involved.

1. No Data Collection

Salati does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no servers, and no analytics or advertising SDKs in the app. Everything Salati needs to function is calculated and stored entirely on your own device.

2. Location, Used On-Device Only

Salati uses your device's location (or a city you enter manually) solely to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. This calculation happens entirely on your device — your location is never sent to us or to any third party, and we have no way of seeing it.

3. Notifications

Prayer and athan notifications are scheduled locally by your device's operating system. No data leaves your device to make this work.

4. Companion Devices

Salati's Apple Watch, CarPlay, and Android Auto experiences perform the same on-device calculations as the phone app. No data is collected or transmitted through these surfaces either.

5. Data Stored on Your Device

Your preferences (calculation method, madhab, muezzin, notification settings) and your progress (adhkar streaks, tasbih counts) are saved locally on your device only, so they persist between sessions. This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us. Uninstalling the app removes it completely.

6. Children's Privacy

Because Salati collects no personal data from any user, it does not collect personal data from children either.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's practices ever change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of Salati after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
