Welcome to Behatreen Jeevan Foundation, a caring and confidential Nasha Mukti Kendra offering compassionate addiction treatment, recovery support, and a path to a better life.
Most families wait too long before they call. They hope it will pass, or they feel ashamed, or they’ve already tried everything and nothing stuck. We hear this story every week, and we want to say it plainly: addiction is an illness, not a lack of willpower, and people do recover from it.
Behatreen Jeevan Foundation Nasha Mukti Kendra is a place where someone can stop using in a safe setting, with doctors and counsellors nearby, away from the people and situations that pull them back. At Behatreen Jeevan Foundation, we try to make that place feel like help, not punishment.
Nobody gets better overnight, so we don’t rush it. This is roughly how a stay goes:
First, we listen. A doctor and a counsellor sit down with the person (and the family, if they’re there) to understand what they’re using, how much, for how long, and what else is going on with their health.
Then comes detox. The body requires time to remove the substance, and the process can be difficult. Withdrawal from alcohol and some drugs can even be dangerous, which is why we do it under medical watch and never recommend doing it alone at home.
Counselling follows. There are one-to-one sessions and group sessions. Most people are surprised by how much it helps to sit with others who understand exactly what they’re going through.
The rest of the stay is about rebuilding. Regular meals, sleep, yoga, light activity, and a daily routine. It sounds simple, but after years of chaos, routine matters a lot.
And we don’t disappear after discharge. Relapse is the biggest risk in the first few months, so we stay in touch and guide the family on what to do at home.
No two plans are identical. We adjust based on the substance, the person’s health, and how they respond.
People come to us for all kinds of reasons, and we don’t judge any of them:
Drinking has started to damage health, work, or the home
A son, husband, or brother using drugs and refusing to admit it
Several failed attempts to quit alone
Money problems, fights at home, or legal trouble linked to addiction
Not knowing how to talk to someone who won’t listen
If you’re reading this at night after another bad day, you’re not the first, and you’re not wrong to look for help.
Who We Help
We work with men and women, young people and older adults, working professionals and people who’ve lost their jobs. We also see many people who’ve been through treatment before and slipped back. That doesn’t mean it failed. It often just means they needed a different approach or more support afterwards.
Recovery is easier in a place that feels safe, so we focus on the basics:
A clean, calm living space
[Qualified doctors, counsellors, and trained support staff]
Home-style, nutritious food
Yoga, meditation, and time for recreation
Updates and counselling for the family, not just the patient
How Long It Takes and What It Costs
Most programmes run for [30, 60, or 90 days], and the doctor will suggest what fits after the first assessment. Someone with a long history of heavy use usually needs longer than someone who’s just started.
Our fees are [₹ 10000 per month / package details]. We’ll give you the full amount upfront, with no surprise charges later. Call us and we’ll explain what’s included.
Families choose us because we keep things honest and simple. You get medical supervision, real counselling, and a calm place to recover, at a price that’s explained clearly from the start. Our team stays with you from the first call through treatment and aftercare, and we treat every patient with the respect they’d want for their own family. Whether it involves alcohol, drugs, or something hard to explain, you can contact us and simply talk.
What is a Nasha Mukti Kendra?
It’s a de-addiction centre where people stop using alcohol or drugs with medical care, counselling, and daily support.
Is it safe to quit at home?
Not always. Suddenly stopping alcohol, for example, can cause seizures or other serious problems. It’s much safer under a doctor’s supervision.
How long will treatment take?
Usually [30 to 90 days], plus aftercare. The doctor will give a clearer answer after meeting the patient.
What does it cost?
It depends on the programme and length of stay. Fees start at [₹ 10000]. Call us for an exact quote.
