Welcome to our page APS family! We are so glad you're here. Feel free to navigate through the tabs to find lots of useful information. We will be updating this page monthly with information. We would like to welcome all students and staff to the new school year. We are looking forward to a fun filled year with a couple of new faces on the PTO Board. We would like to formally announce the 2026-2027 Appomattox Primary School PTO Board members:

• Member at Large: Tricia Bell

• Member at Large: Rachel Morris

Our mission remains the same, but we have set some new goals. We’d love for you to join us this year! Dues are $7 per family and help provide birthday books for all students, supplies and treats for staff, playground equipment, fun events and treats for students throughout the year and so much more! When you join, your family is showing support for our students and staff. 

We have a few fundraisers happening now and already finished one. We would like to congratulate the winners of the Car Rider Line Skip, Alexis Doss & Brenda Poore! We also would like to thank everyone who supported this fundraiser. The second nine weeks Car Rider Line Skip Raffle has started, get your tickets today. We also have comfy Raider blankets, cute stickers and soon to come a variety of Raider apparel. 

We kicked off with our first staff treat of the year on Friday, August 21. We set up sweet treats and a lemonade bar in the mailroom for all staff to enjoy at their convenience. We truly appreciate all they do for the students at APS!

We are looking forward to seeing lots of smiling faces at our Fall & Spring PTO Member meetings this year. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, October 6 from 5:30-6PM in the cafeteria. We will offer a door prize to one lucky winner! We plan to share our upcoming events, goals for the year and welcome your input and feedback. 

We truly thank you for all of your support and look forward to seeing you at Open House on October 9 from 6-7PM. We plan to have a table where you can sign up to join us and purchase Raider swag.
