AppNet Control (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use our application.
AppNet Control is an Android firewall application that allows users to control WiFi and Mobile Data access for individual apps using Android’s VPNService API.
The app operates primarily on the user’s device.
AppNet Control uses Android’s official VPNService API to create a local VPN tunnel for firewall functionality.
Important Information:
No remote VPN servers are used.
All traffic filtering is performed locally on the device.
We do NOT collect, monitor, or store browsing history.
We do NOT analyze internet traffic.
We do NOT transmit VPN traffic to external servers.
The VPN permission is required strictly for enabling per-app internet blocking.
AppNet Control itself does NOT collect:
Personal information
Browsing history
App usage logs
Location data
Contact information
However, the app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AppNet Control integrates Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC.
AdMob may collect:
Advertising ID
Device identifiers
IP address (for ad delivery)
Interaction data related to ads
This data may be used for:
Serving personalized or non-personalized ads
Measuring ad performance
Preventing fraud

We do not directly control or access data collected by AdMob.
All firewall rules and app settings are stored locally on your device.
We do not store user data on external servers.
AppNet Control may request the following permissions:
VPNService – to enable firewall functionality
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES – to display installed apps
FOREGROUND_SERVICE – to maintain firewall operation
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – to restart firewall if enabled
INTERNET – required for ad loading
Permissions are used strictly for app functionality.
AppNet Control does not sell or share personal data.
However, advertising-related data may be collected and processed by Google AdMob in accordance with their policies.
AppNet Control does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Advertisements shown via AdMob may be subject to Google’s child-directed advertising policies.
If the app is intended for children, appropriate ad settings must be configured in AdMob.
Since VPN traffic is processed locally and not transmitted to external servers, user browsing data remains on the device.
Advertising data handling is managed by Google under their security standards.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app functionality changes. Updates will be reflected by revising the effective date above.
