This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected and used within the AppLink Alarm mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to protecting your privacy.
1. Information We Collect
We, the developers of AppLink Alarm, do not directly collect any personally identifiable information from you. However, the App integrates third-party services that may collect certain information as described below:
Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data such as screens viewed, session duration, and user engagement events to help us understand how the App is used.
Firebase Crashlytics: Gathers crash reports and technical details (e.g., device model, OS version, stack traces) to help diagnose and fix stability issues.
Google AdMob: Collects device identifiers and ad interaction data to serve and measure personalized advertising.
Google Play Billing (Subscriptions): Processes subscription purchases. Google Play may collect information needed to authenticate and authorize your subscription (e.g., Google account ID and purchase tokens).
2. How We Use Collected Information
The information collected through the third-party services listed above is used solely for the following purposes:
App Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns via Firebase Analytics helps us enhance features and optimize user experience.
Stability and Bug Fixing: Crash reports from Firebase Crashlytics allow us to promptly address errors and improve reliability.
Monetization: Displaying advertisements via Google AdMob supports the App’s development and maintenance.
Subscription Management: Google Play Billing data enables us to manage access to premium features and subscription status.
3. Data Sharing
We do not directly share any personal information. However, the third-party services we use collect and may share data as follows:
Google (Firebase & AdMob & Play): Data collected by Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, AdMob, and Google Play is shared with Google. Google processes and stores this data according to its own privacy policies. AdMob may also share data with its advertising partners to deliver and measure ad performance.
4. User Rights and Choices
Since we do not directly collect personally identifiable information, certain rights such as accessing or deleting data held by us are not applicable. However, you have choices regarding third-party data collection:
Personalized Advertising: You can opt-out of personalized ads via your device settings (e.g., “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android) or manage your preferences in your Google Ad Settings.
Analytics Data: While there is no in-App toggle to disable Firebase Analytics, the data collected is anonymized and aggregated.
5. Data Security
We rely on the Android operating system’s security features and Google’s Firebase and AdMob security practices to safeguard any data collected. We follow industry-standard measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it as soon as possible.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App or on its Google Play Store listing. Please review this Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitute acceptance of the revised Policy.
