Every spring term at Oregon State a robotics competition is held. The competition centers around a game and the robots play against each other in a bracket to see who the champion is. Games from previous years include "Water" Pong and Let's Go Fishin'. This year the game is Jenga!
Rules of Jenga Competition:
Each team is assigned a side and there are 7 minutes allowed for set up. Each turn lasts one minute where the robot enters the playing area, grabs a block, and has to return the block to their side. The dimensions of the field (pictured below) are as follows:
- Jenga blocks square is 7.5cm x 7.5cm
- Playing area is 67.5cm x 67.5cm
- Outermost square is 155cm x 155cm.
