DocScanner does not require an account, does not upload documents, does not use analytics, does not show ads, and does not send document files to a backend server.
The app can access camera images, gallery images, and generated PDF files only to provide its document scanning and PDF creation features. This processing happens locally on your device.
DocScanner asks for camera or photo access when you choose to capture or import document pages.
Images selected or captured in the app are used to create, crop, adjust, reorder, and export PDF files. These images are not uploaded by DocScanner.
Generated PDFs are saved locally on your device or shared only when you choose to use an Android save, open, or share action.
When you share or open a PDF with another app, that action is controlled by you and by the app or service you select.
DocScanner does not offer user accounts and does not ask for names, email addresses, passwords, or profile information.
DocScanner does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or telemetry features.
DocScanner is designed for offline use. The app does not upload document images or generated PDFs to a remote server.
Draft images and generated PDFs may be stored locally on your device so the app can create and manage PDF files.
You can delete generated PDFs from the app or from your device storage. Temporary draft files are intended to be cleared when a draft is reset.
Because DocScanner does not maintain a server account or remote database, there is no server-side user account or remote user data to delete.
DocScanner is not designed for children and is not directed to children.
This privacy policy may be updated when DocScanner changes. The updated policy should be published at the same public URL used in Google Play Console.
