We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive API Integration Specialist to bridge the gap between our core systems and external platforms. In this role, you will be the primary architect and implementer of data flows, ensuring that our software ecosystem operates as a seamless, unified engine.

Design & Development: Architect, develop, and maintain robust API integrations between internal systems and third-party SaaS platforms (e.g., CRM, ERP, Payment Gateways).
Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including data maps, workflow diagrams, and API specifications.
Troubleshooting: Monitor integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve connectivity or data transformation issues.
Security: Implement best practices for API security, including OAuth, API keys, and data encryption, to ensure secure data transmission.
Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to define integration requirements and provide technical feasibility assessments.
Optimization: Continuously refine existing integrations to improve scalability, reliability, and speed.
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP; proficiency in JSON and XML data formats.
Programming: High competency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, or Go).
Tools: Experience using API testing tools like Postman or Insomnia and version control systems like Git.
Authentication: Deep understanding of authentication protocols such as OAuth2, SAML, and JWT.
Databases: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries to interact with relational databases.
Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to map complex data structures between disparate systems.
Experience with iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato, Zapier, or Dell Boomi).
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Understanding of Webhooks and event-driven architecture.
Previous experience in a DevOps environment or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
