Apex Recovery is designed to scan media and files on your device, help you review results, and let you choose what to recover or clean. We do not sell your personal information.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, Apex Recovery may process the following information on your device:
Photos, videos, audio, documents, archives, screenshots, duplicate media, file names, file sizes, file paths, and file metadata needed to show scan results.
Storage availability and device capacity information used for the dashboard and file review screens.
Launcher/home app state when you choose to set Apex Recovery as your default home app.
Contact shortcuts or launcher search data only if you grant contact permission and use launcher features that need it.
App diagnostics, crash information, performance information, and basic usage events through Firebase or similar analytics services.
Advertising identifiers and ad interaction data if AdMob or other ads are enabled in a version of the app.
To scan local storage and display recoverable photos, videos, files, screenshots, duplicate groups, and large files.
To perform actions you request, such as restoring selected items or deleting selected files.
To keep the app stable, understand feature performance, and diagnose crashes.
To show ads if advertising is enabled.
To support launcher/home app behavior when you enable it.
Media and file scanning is performed on your device. Apex Recovery does not upload your photos, videos, documents, screenshots, or file contents to our servers as part of the recovery or cleanup workflow. Actions such as restore and delete happen only after you choose items and confirm the action required by Android.
The app may request storage or media permissions such as photo, video, audio, external storage, or all-files access where required by Android and where declared in Google Play. These permissions are used to find, review, recover, or clean files. The app may also request notification, wallpaper, launcher, widget, or contact-related permissions for home app features. You can change permissions at any time in Android Settings.
Apex Recovery may use Firebase for analytics and crash reporting, and may use Google AdMob for advertising. These services may process device identifiers, diagnostics, approximate location derived from network data, ad interaction data, and usage events according to their own policies.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited diagnostic, analytics, or advertising data with service providers that help operate, improve, or monetize the app. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, the app, or others.
Apex Recovery is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us through the developer contact listed on Google Play.
You can deny or revoke permissions in Android Settings.
You can clear app data or uninstall the app to remove local app state.
You can manage ad personalization through Android and Google settings where available.
We may update this policy when app features, permissions, or services change. The latest version will be made available through the app listing or the app's privacy policy link.
