School library is a major educational resource for the teachers and students of a school. It is primarily a learning and information centre that facilitates the planning and implementing of the teaching program of the school.
APCS information services link learners and information resources to achieve quality teaching and learning outcomes. The teacher-librarian is dedicated to work with all teachers and parents in the school community in the design, implementation and evaluation of the school’s information management system so that effective support can be given to APCS library users to enable them to become confident, independent users of information.

It emphasizes the active involvement of learners in their own learning rather than teacher-centered instruction. For this reason, a two strand program is offered by our school library:
Both strands are equally important, and should be the responsibility of the whole school community.
