Alexander P. Christensen
I'm a PhD candidate at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where my graduate work is being supervised by Dr. Paul Silvia. My research interests encompass a broad and diverse range of topics. Currently, my main focus is concerned with applying network science methodologies in psychology—from measurement to personality to cognitive science and neuroscience.
My goals are to demonstrate the complementary role of network analysis in psychometric measurement (e.g., scale development) and to develop tools to advance this area of network science in psychology. One method of achieving of these goals is through actively maintaining my R package, NetworkToolbox, which provides researchers with state-of-the-art methods and measures for psychological network analysis.
