I've got Powerchute from my device page and installed the agent and console edition. During installation of the agent, my UPS got detected and I assumed all is well. After installation I saw that the service was also running under Services. I am however unable to see the status of my UPS and battery. When I double click "PowerChute Business Edition Console" and open the program I get a login screen where I input the username and password provided by me during installation and I get the error message saying " Could not connect to the powerchute business edition server. make sure that the powerchute business edition server software is running, and that its host is connected to the network, then try to connect again."

I'm not sure if youa re still working on geting PCNS to communicate with your network management card, but if you are, you should log into the netowrk management card and see if the powerchute software registered itself with the card. This can be verified by finding the IP address of the PowerChute client computer in teh list of PowerChute IP addresses in the UPS -> PowerChute menu of the managmenet card's interface. If you have uninstalled the software since your last try, you would have to reinstall it. If your computer's IP is not listed on the management card, you can add it manually.
If you are still having problems communicating after either verifying that the IP address is properly listed in the management card interface, or adding it manually, you might want to reset the card to its factory defaults, and try the installation again without MD5 encryption enabled on the card. If it works without MD5, try using a different phrase.
