A myth to some, and an idol to others, Ao Shin is the mystic avatar of legends taled to be the guardian spirit of Runeterra. Supposed depictions of Ao Shin vary greatly from nation to nation, with some describing the entity as a great wielder of storms, whilst others belittle them to the likes of a serpent of children's stories. The implications of one's circumstances matters not however to those of heart, as the many of Runeterra acknowledge a truth to Ao Shin enigmatic presence:
"When the monsoon rages amok, a chorus is heard by those who hearken with but their souls."
Heart of the Storm: Ao Shin can periodically perch on a structure or terrain, channelling to exhale a mystic storm which floods the entire map thereafter, causing all locations to be treated as the River. Champion takedowns reduce Heart of the Storm's cooldown.
Tempest's Blessings: Ao Shin's abilities are empowered when cast in the River.
Ao Shin conjures an Origin at the target location, briefly revealing the surrounding area.
Origins can be attacked while they are off cooldown to trigger Communion. Ao Shin's other abilities refresh all Origins' cooldowns.
Tempest's Blessings: The conjured Origin lasts until Ao Shin is slain.
The primed Origin discharges, dealing magic damage to all enemies in between itself, other nearby Origins, and Ao Shin.
Ao Shin channels as he gathers nearby Origins before taking to the air, becoming briefly untargetable, after which they and their Origins crashes down about the target location, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies, and slowing them.
Fabled Typhoon can only target the River, though Ao Shin doesn't have to be in the River to cast it.
Tempest's Blessings: Fabled Typhoon gains unlimited range.
Windfury: Ao Shin generates Windfury when Origins damage an enemy champion. Casting Return Stroke consumes all Windfury.
Ao Shin conjures a radial Spark which expands outwards about him to its maximum range, based on the amount of Windfury consumed, slowing all enemies it contacts for the remainder of its duration. Upon fully expanding, the Spark then contracts down towards Ao Shin, dealing magic damage to all enemies it contacts, and applying on-hit effects.
Tempest's Blessings: Ao Shin periodically generates Windfury.
Ao Shin surges the collective waterbody of the entire vicinity, knocking up all enemies in the River, and revealing them.
Tempest's Blessings: Affected enemies are suspended for a longer period based on their proximity to Ao Shin.
The waters and winds of Runeterra is no mere weapon to Ao Shin, but a very extension of their being. When others wield their crafts, Ao Shin harmonizes with theirs, longing in its absence, and thriving in its abundance.
Second to none in their capacity for generating areal hostility, Ao Shin is utterly peerless in prolonged skirmishes on large bodies of Runeterran rivers. Dictate the outcome of all but every confrontation before they even begin by engaging in favourable skirmishes with Fabled Typhoon, and avoiding the others altogether. Provided none are to get the jump on Ao Shin, the storm will rage on, progressively ramping up to annihilate all those in its path.
